Everything in the junk drawer runs in your browser. The projects here have no server of their own, no accounts, no analytics and no cookies. What you make stays in your browser, and a few projects can also keep a copy in your own Google Drive if you turn that on.

Projects that can use Google Drive

What they do with your Google account

Connecting Google Drive asks Google for one permission, drive.file: “see, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app”. The projects share one Google sign-in, called junkdrawer.works, so “this app” means these projects together. They can reach only the folders and files they made themselves, and they can't see, open or list anything else in your Drive.

They use this access only to read their own file, merge it with the copy on your device, and write it back. Lotería and Every So Often also read your Google account's name and email address, and From Scratch its email address, to show which account they save to and to skip Google's account chooser the next time; that stays in your browser.

The sign-in Google gives your browser lasts about an hour and is kept in your browser, so a reload doesn't sign you out. Projects at the same address can use it during that hour without asking again; each game has its own address, so each keeps its own. It is never sent anywhere except to Google.

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by junkdrawer.works projects adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Drive data is used only to show you your own things. It isn't transferred to anyone, used for advertising, or read by any person.

Questions

The code for every project is open at github.com/markjf99702, one repository per project, so you can check all of this. Questions or problems can go to that project's issue tracker.
